BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is proven to contain the most effective self-defense techniques in the world. No other martial art provides the level of skill, training and knowledge necessary to immobilize an opponent of any size and shape. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu uses proper positioning, leverage and technique to allow a variety of chokes, join locks, or even strikes to submit your opponent-Not size and strength!

Since most real fights end up on the ground, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu’s primary focus is how to properly take the fight to the ground using simple takedown techniques, controlling and neutrilizing your opponents aggressiveness, then manipulating him into a vulnerable position for a finishing technique-or, how to protect yourself if you find yourself on the ground in a self-defense situation. It is these same characteristics that make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu the perfect martial arts for women!

It is because of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu’s unmatched success in events such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and countless of other No-Holds-Barred (NHB) events across the world, that many law enforcement agencies and military branches have adopted it as the form of hand-to-hand combat they teach their forces. More so, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academies, associations and clubs are cropping up all over the country.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu’s claims are REAL, and at Warrior Way we will teach the same techniques that have been taught in Brazil for over 80 years, first brought to America over a decade ago. We will provide you with professional, high-quality training enviornment that will help you reach your goals.
