Attention all Warrior Way, MASH Gym, Fuse team members, family, friends, and affiliates. MASH Gym will be hosting a special BJJ seminar on Sunday, July 31st from 12:00 pm to 2:00pm.
On July 22nd one of our fighters, Tommy Bagnasco, suffered cardiac arrest and collapsed during his second professional boxing match. Tommy was rushed to the hospital where he is currently being held. Tommy is recovering and scheduled for surgery this week to be fitted with a defibrillator.
Tommy and his wife, Karin, recently had a baby girl. We know Tommy will bravely fight this battle head on, but we would like to organize an effort to assist Tommy and his family during this difficult time.
The cost of this seminar will be any monetary donation. All proceeds will go to Tommy and his family to help offset any costs during his recovery. If you cannot attend, but would still like to help, donations will be accepted at MASH Gym, or Warrior Way during the week.
Hope to see you all there!
Professors Harvy, Brandon, and Angelo wrapped up an awesome week of training in California with a seminar today. I’ve never had so much fun training, laughing, and meeting new people as I have today. Caique started the seminar by saying “We are lucky to be here together today…” Then he paused and said “No…we are not ‘lucky,’ because we have all chosen a path to be where we are today.” The instructors at Warrior Way made a choice years ago to follow a path with Master Caique and our Jiu Jitsu team has never been stronger.
